Medical Disclaimer

Before using the ice bath facilities, please take the time to carefully read and understand this disclaimer. The ice bath is designed to provide a cold therapy experience, but your safety and well-being depend on following the precautions below. By using the ice bath, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms:

  1. Health Assessment
You should consult a qualified healthcare professional before using the ice bath, particularly if you have pre-existing medical conditions such as cardiac or circulatory issues or are pregnant. Cold therapy can affect individuals differently and medical guidance is recommended to determine if it is safe for you to undertake the activity safely.

  2. Gradual Exposure
Begin with short sessions and slowly increase the time as your body adapts. Extended exposure can cause hypothermia or other adverse effects.

  3. Temperature Awareness
Everyone responds to cold differently. Pay close attention to your body—leave the bath if you experience excessive shivering, numbness, tingling, or discomfort.

  4. Supervision
If you are new to ice baths or concerned about how your body might react, consider having someone present for assistance. Those with certain health conditions may especially benefit from having supervision.

  5. Clothing & Accessories
Wear appropriate attire and protect extremities such as hands and feet. Remove metal accessories, jewelry, or watches to prevent injury.

  6. Medical Conditions
People with conditions like Raynaud’s disease or other cold-sensitive conditions must seek medical advice before using the ice bath.

  7. Hydration
Cold therapy can stress the body. Stay well-hydrated before and after your session and watch for signs of dehydration.

  8. Eagle Wellness Guidelines
Always follow the instructions given regarding use, safety limits, and protocols to ensure a safe and effective session

By entering and using the ice bath facilities, you agree to comply with these guidelines. The facility is not responsible for any injury, illness, or damage caused by improper use or failure to follow these precautions. If you have any doubts or questions, consult a healthcare professional before proceeding.
